Star Book....

This is a workshop I did at Keith the other month - had the photos on OH's camera so only just got round to uploading them!

Am very impressed with these PaperMania Christmas Papers - a wee bit of inking and they look just fab!

Okay a quick cuppa for me then off to collect the monkey from Nursery! Have a lovely day!

Sleepy Sunday...

Hello!

Oooh we are all suffering a bit in this house today!!

Had a great day out yesterday down to Dundee! I had a Cuttlebug & Inkadinkado Demo at the lovely Kitty Krafts :) Louise has a great shop - packed full of goodies! Louise and the lovely Ross looked after me nicely with a endless supply of yummy donuts LOL Was a very long day but great fun!

I was lucky to meet the very talented Jakki and see some of her amazing cards - they are just stunning - you must have a lookie at her BLOG! She also her her stamp collection - ooooh my goondess - I have never seen such a fabulous collection! Made me feel quite weak at the knees!!

Ads took the girls onto Perth to spend the day at Grannies house so they had great fun too!

So just a quiet day at home today - kids are off Mon/Tues so no doubt there will be a lot of baking/crafting/toy-cupboard tidying to keep us all busy!!

A quick card to share today - one from the Demo using the Inkadinkado Christmas Tree stamp - done in creams and browns for a more vintage look :)

Enjoy your Sunday xx

Christmas Flourish!

Another quickie from me!

This is the class I have done up at Elgin Paper Crafts Boutique. I do have one space left for it in the diary next Tuesday evening :) 2 cards & a gift box (and I also include a sneaky wee treat!!)

Have used the lovely Flourish Stamps from Inkadinkado and beautifully textured double-sided Christmas Papers from Paper Adventures. Verrry nice :)

Got to get busy now - heading down the road tomorrow for a Demo at Kitty Krafts - will be a long day but great fun :)

Enjoy the weekend!

Bo Bunny Heaven!

Oooohhh My Goodness!

My lovely delivery man just brought me the most amazing box of stash! I am such a lucky girlie to work for Bramwell Crafts - they already bring some amazing products to the UK including Hero Arts, Inkadinkadoo, Cuttlebug, Cricut...I could go on and on! One of the newer companies they are now supplying to UK Craft Shops is Bo Bunny and "We've Got It Covered" is a new Demo package featuring 3 ranges of papers, the most adorable rub-ons & embellishments and the fabulous chipboard Word Books and Blanks!

I think I need to go lie down in a dark room after unpacking all that loveliness!!!

Apologies for the poor photo - it was already dark by 5pm!!

I can feel the need to be sending some yumminess back down to Bramwells in the guise of chocolate :)

Busy Week....

Sorry I'm neglecting you all again!

I can hardly believe we are more than half way through the week already!!!

Been a busy bee.....sorting out the house, crafting with the girlies, tidying up the garden! All that and fitting in some work too! Oooh yes and this week I was a Lady who Lunches! Elaine & I headed up to Glenfiddich to try out the new Lunch menu...mmmmmmm - now why does Addy not cook like that at home?! Top Tip.....order the Sticky Toffee Pudding!!!!!

I am down at the lovely Kitty Krafts in Dundee this week for a Cuttlebug Demo....and I have special delivery of Maggie & Hamish to take with me...multi-tasking LOL!

Sugar Nellie have just announced the first of 3 new designers set to join the talented team....have a lookie {HERE}. Leanne's work is just beautiful - something very different from the norm and i am sooo looking forward to them!!

Not much to share with you - although I have been busy!! Here is a card I sent of to the lovely Claire & Co at Bramwells.....well they always send me yummy things so it works both ways!!! A very simple card that will no doubt be adapted so suit many colours & schemes! :)

Bye for now!!

Nice things in Small Packages....

Anyone that knows me will already know how much I love making little things! I just loved doing this mini-book up in PaperCrafts Boutique! And it really is teenie - a mere 3" square book - but fab as you only use half a sheet of 12x12 for the base then teenie scraps to decorate the pages - a little goes a long way! I just adore the Daisy Bucket papers - beautiful colours too!

Got a zillion things on my to-do list to day so had better get cracking! Byeeee!

Season Of Joy

Well....it is fast approaching!

I have to say I do love Christmas - and this one will be extra special as we will have Addy at home. Being a chef all his days has meant he has worked many a long Christmas Day. This year he will have 2 weeks holiday! Eeeek how will he survive!!!

So here is my Season of Joy class I did at Elgin - a bit of a twist on the traditional colours but it was loved by all! Ended up having to do this 3 times as sooo many people wanted to have a go! Lovely set of stamps by Stampin' Up from the new catalog - and yes I can get you some if you like :) Just yell!!!

Got my little one at home today - she was a up most the night with a bad cough and a temperature so we are having a snuggly cozy day :)

Snow Clear!

Hee Hee - didn't think I'd be back so soon - did you!!!

Yes I even amaze myself sometimes!

This was my second Evening Class I taught in Elgin - we went from being very traditional to very modern!

This was such a fun class to do - stamping with the lovely Hero Arts clear stamps onto acetate using white Staz On - we did a card, a tag to go on a glass jar filled with Snowman Poop (mints!) and a fun mini tag book bound with the Bing-It-All. This class was a big hit!

I do have more but had better pace myself!!!

Night Night!

I confess.....

.....I have been a bad bad blogger!

I have no idea where the last few months have gone too! Been so busy with all my freelance work and kids & home that I have spread myself a bit too thin I think!

Then in the middle of it all my PC died :( What a trauma that was - you just don't realise how much we depend on these things!!

Weather has really turned Wintery up here! We even had some snow! The minute Annemiek got home from school she just HAD to go out and build a Snowman - he didn't last very long though!!

So...what have I been up to????....

Have had a really busy spell with my Demo's for Bramwells - the Cuttlebug Demo took me far and wide....Elgin..Aberdeen..Dundee..Keith and even Perth! I am looking forward to yet another one later this month back down in Dundee. I made a second trip to the fabulous Stampaholics in Perth in October to demo the new Cricut Create machine - was really nice to be back there again - Siobhan and all her customers are just lovely :)

I have been putting in some part time hours up at the super duper Paper Crafts Boutique in Elgin - I have also started running Evening Classes from the back room on a Tuesday evening - have some photos to share with you of the yummy projects we have been making there :)

Things have been very busy with Sugar Nellie & Funky Kits - lots of new designs have been released and more to come soon....one of which I am SUPER excited about!!!! Will share when I can!!!

So here are a few projects I will show off to you! This was my "Vintage Christmas" Class I did last month. We did 2 cards and a decorated notebook using the very lovey stamps from Paper Artsy and some Basic Grey papers. Back soon - I hope!!!

So Annemiek has lost her first tooth! Bless her she was so excited! Had to phone Daddy at work to tell him! Soooooo - what is the going rate for your first tooth!?!?

Summertime.....

.....and the living is easy!

If you are a kid anyway!

Just a few photos of the girlies over the holidays!

There have been a few berry-picking trips - and we now have lots of rastrawberry jam!!

They are growing so much just now! What happened to my wee quines!! (eek brood alert!!)

Busy Busy Busy!

I can hardly belive we are in August already!!! This is such a busy month for us!

I have a few Demo's for Bramwells this month - featuring the new Cuttlebug releases - an absolute joy to work with!

Had a great weekend for the opening of the new PAPER CRAFTS BOUTIQUE in Elgin - oh my it is an absolute dream shop for all crafters...sofa's...coffee...and scrummy stash!!!! Plus they are open extra hours now Mon - Sat from 10 - 5. I am delighted to be doing some part time hours there as well as my work for Sugar Nellie :)

Addy is starting a new job this month...for the first time in his whole life he has an (almost) 9 - 5 job....hee hee not quite sure how we will all adapt to that but we are certainly looking forward to having him around and having some quality family time together - it has been a long time coming!

A few photos to tease you then....back later with some pics of the girls (for the family that still keep up with this badly updated blog!!)

Sorry......

Sorry to anyone that still tries to keep up with my blog.....it's me that need to speed up!

The last month has been very mixed...Addy was involved in a car accident and although he had a very lucky escape we lost our car and he was off work for a bit. But oooh it really does make you sit up and think about life in general - and lets just say there will be a few changes afoot!

So we had no car for a while but are now on the go again with an ugly-bug of a car - a Fiat Multipla! The girls just love it though! They call it a Dolphin Car!

Speaking of Bugs I got a lovely package delivered the other day - a Cricut Create machine & Jukebox. Not had a chance to have a good play but can hardly wait! Got a few demo's lined up and hoping to receive all the Cuttlebug Folders this week so I can get designing!

So life is very busy! Will be back soon- promise!!!!!! (I know I said that last time!)

Just a wee photo to share - made using the new Sugar Nellie Stamps - Sweet Art Ebony - hopefully due tomorrow!!

This is a card I did for the Girlz Aloud Demo for Bramwells.....lots of adorable stamps, lucious pink papers and touchy feely velveteen oohh errrr! Plenty more where that card came from too...more to follow!

It's School holidays up here too...second week now....so life is even more of a juggling act than normal!

Promise to be back soon with more photos!!

Happy New Year!

My goodness can you believe it's really 2008! Doesn't seem 5 minutes since the Millenium!

We had a lovely Christmas away down in Perth at my Mum & Dads. Was a bit sad to be away from Ads but such is life - when you live with a chef anyway!!

Since we got back home been busy playing, crafting and playing some more!

The girls got so many lovely presents - they are very lucky duckies! They got a huge amount of Barbie stuff - a house, cars, dolls, horses...plenty to share! They also got a shocking Pink PlayStation 2 - ooooh we've had a lot of fun with that - although I am still to test drive the microphones and Sing Star!!!! Think I may have missed my chance!

Have been working away the last few days on some samples for Bramwells - ooooh they sent me some seriously yummy stash! Has been great fun the work with but very time consuming! I am such a slow crafter - either that or too flippin' fussy about what I make!!!

My camera seems to have gone awol but here is a wee photo to share of the girls with my brother "maca"-Ronnie on Christmas Day - he was just delighted to be playing Disney Princeses on a PINK PS2 - not!!!! Hee Hee - he was really great with them actually! Just look at the concentration on their faces!

Ah well - it is all over for another year - back to School tomorrow, and back to wrapping up the adorable Sugar Nellie Stamps for me - there is something NEW and very exciting due to be launched by Sugar Nellie soon.....mmmmmmmm I can't wait!

So - Happy New Year to anyone that happens to be reading and I may even be a bit better at blogging this year! No promises though!
