Sunday Photo Shoot - cuties!!!

Hi - just had a quick photo shoot with the chickies...cute lil superstars they are!

Big girls are getting some lovely fresh air outside in this nice weather but still in at night to stay cozy :)

So much fun to see their personalities changing - this is a great experience for the kids!

Art Journal

Here is an Art Journal I have made for the lovely Emma - it is her birthday today!  Happy Birthday sweetie!!

Made from 5x5 chipboard....pretty papers...cut the birdie from black velvet paper on cricut machine...bound together with bind-it-all and finished off with pretty ribbons :)

Really pleased with this may have to do a few more :)  Apologies for poor photo - took it on the phone in a mad dash before rushing out last night!  We went to see "The Mysterious Death of Netta Fornario" which is touring from Mull Theatre.  Was a fabulous night and just in awe of the wonderful actors and crew - what an amzing job they all do!!  Gosh I do miss my theatre days but nice to get that wee bit culture now and then in our own Village Hall :)

Chickens are all doing well - the two big girls are out in the garden today basking in the sunshine....tomorrow will be the weekly photo shoot again I reckon!!

Just had to share some pics of the new arrivals in the household.....

Here is Annemiek with her one week old chickie - named Angel :)  She is such a cutie - very calm and loves to be held!

Next up is Freya with her wee bundle of fluff called Pudsey

For being the smallest chick Pudsey is a wee daredevil!!!  she is super fast and already attempting to flap her wings and fly!  She will happily jump up onto your hand to feed!

Here they both are a week later aged just 2 weeks - amazing how quick they grow!

My girl is Lily Lavender - she is now 4 weeks old....

And last but not least we have Addy's chick.....she is about 5 weeks old and is super scruffy - think she is changing over her baby feathers!  Not an easy girl to photograph as she is a complete softie and just wants to come sit on your hand and snuggle up!!!  Name keeps changing...KFC....Beyonce.....Pepper.....watch this space!!!!

Spent a lovely day with my friend Emma helping set up a shiny new {BLOG} for her.

Emma is super talented - she does screenprinting, drawing, painting and in general makes all things pretty!

This is the stepping stone to a new venture for her and she should have her fabulous items for sale via blog/folksy soon - can't wait!!!!

Orange Poppy Card

Been after this stamp a looonnngg time and finally got one!  Tried to keep this very stylish and classy - just like the recipient!!

Acetate Card...

Gosh what a busy few weeks with Holidays and  now Easter - been great fun though and the weather is just fabulous!  Great to get out and about and get the garden sorted!

I have made an Acetate Card for this weeks challenge over on "Less Is More"  This is a great blog full of wonderful ideas & inspiration!

My acetate was not as thick as I would have liked so I used it as a front panel to my card.  Have used Rub-Ons for the monogram on front, then stamped & coloured a swirly flourish in the background.  Finished off with a wee strip of paper, some gems and a charm.  Simple but rather effective I think :)

Sketch Saturday

Yaaay had lots of fun playing today with the new challenge over at {SKETCH SATURDAY}

Have used an adorable Teddy Bea image - treated myself to a few of these gorgeous teddies this week from the Teddy Bo Store :)  I don't usually do animals so this is rather new to me....be kind!!!

April Already!

Oh my goodness really?!  How the heck did that happen!

Just been a hectic few months - keeping busy with Squiggles and my girlies and just home last week from a long overdue trip to Holland

Was soooo lovely to see the family again - BIG kusjes to eveyone there....missssssing you and we have finished all the Squirrel Nib Its already!

Have really enjoyed the Easter Holidays - had a good week spending quality time with my girlies - with lots of fun :)

Better get back into the swing of life again - next week I will hopefully be creating lots of yumminess in the kitchen and the craft room!!!

Lazy Sunday...?

If only LOL!  It is a beautiful day up here so busy tidying up the garden and getting ready for Autumn.  I have to say it's my favourite season!  And not only as it'll soon be my birthday hee hee!

Had a lovely day up in Alford yesterday.  Huge thanks to Jacqui of Simply Create - I was truly spoilt! 

Was great to meet so many nice crafters :)

Just a couple of pics to share with you.....some of the projects I made yesterday and a photo of my own wee squigglettes!  I had to laugh they were all dressed for the beach and matched the Squiggle Stamp Display perfectly!!!

Busy Busy Busy!

Goodness me I am shocked how fast the last month has gone!

Just seems to be so much going on! Girls are loving school - I have a gorgeous new baby niece in Holland - can't wait to get over there and give her a cuddle - and I have been doing some work in a local coffee shop doing the baking. So all this "time" that I thought I would have just doesn't exist!

Squiggle Stamps is growing - lots of new designs now available and more to come! Very proud of my little stamp company! We now have a fantabulous Design Team....their cards and projects are sinply stunning - have a nosy over at the BLOG for links :)

Tomorrow is a crafty day away for me - demo'ing some Squiggle Stamps over at Simply Create in Alford. I adore that shop - Jacqui has created the ultimate Craft Utopia there! No doubt I will be coming home with more than I took! Would be lovely to catch up with some familiar faces if you are in the area :)

Something Witchy......

Hello everyone!

Just had to share a sneaky peek of this adorable Witchy Daisy stamp which is due for release in September from Squiggle Stamps - I love her.....but then I am Halloween daft!!!!

Had a lovely day out today - went to visit Irene up at Mitchbish Crafts in Keith - she has some really fabby stash - well worth a visit! Then Elaine & I went to Boogie Woogie for Coffee and Cake.....total yummy mummies!!

Still working away on a new blog just for Squiggle Stamps....and on the search for some designers - gosh the day browsing online just disappears!!

School Days....

Well the day has come......my baby has started school! GULP!

Big adventures for both my girls - wee one is starting P1 and her big sister is moving up to the next class and a new teacher in P3 - but they were both happy and excited when the bell rang!

So what do I do now!? Ha Ha there is LOTS to keep me busy...cards to make.....website....a new Squiggle Blog to be created....and I am going to work a couple of days a week in the local coffee shop to do the baking again....and somewhere in amongst all that I really need to work on my domestic goddess skills!

So feeling a bit at odds today.....happy and a wee bit sad too. But well life goes on so I just need to try and keep up!!!

On the plus side - I have a new batch of sketches for September Stamps....oooh they are FAB! Autumn...Winter.....and a wee Witchie too!!! I might even show you all a peek later! :P

Last day of the holidays here - and as we are all in the crafty mood now the girls and I are going to decorate some Eco Cotton bags for them to keep their Gym Kit in - first day of school tomorrow for my little one......will be back with photo's tomorrow!!)

Starfish and Mushrooms.....

What another manic week! Where does the time go?!

Weather not been great but still managed a few trips out! My girls adore going to the beach....they spend hours in the rock-pools searching for crabs and starfish. But with all the damp weather this week they also enjoyed a visit to the forrest to collect mushrooms - much to Chef Addy's delight! Just had to share a couple of photo's!

The first batch of adorable Daisy Stamps have arrived so we are having fun at home today colouring in. Hope to have some creations to share with you soon! Stamps available now at Squiggle Stamps :)

Woooooooosh....

Oh my goodness where did the last month disappear to!

Life is very busy - especially now with the school holidays! My little Freya gave us all a fright yesterday by falling and splitting open her head....eeek! All is well and the very nice doctor glued her together (the wonders of modern science!!) I think I was more traumatized than she was!

I have some excitement to share.....an adorable new range of stamps by an up & coming Scottish illustrator - more info to follow! They are called Oscar & Daisy and here is a sneaky peek of Daisy in all her cute-ness! They should be available soon from Squiggle Stamps :) What do you think?????

Birthday Bumps!

Hello!

Goodness me what a crazy week - lots of birthdays this month! My Granny just celebrated her 80th Birthday and my own wee munchkin turned 5 yesterday - where oh where does the time go!

A couple of photo's to share - one of the card I made for my Granny and one of the birthday girl proudly wearing her badge!

She was a very lucky girl - lots of lovely cards and gifts but the firm favourite has to be her SPACE HOPPER! She has been literally bouncing off the walls! Photos to follow!
